Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (Kap)
As a licensed psychologist certified in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I offer a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to this innovative treatment.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can be integrated into ongoing individual or couples therapy, or provided as a focused, time-limited treatment in collaboration with referring clinicians.

I utilize sublingual ketamine lozenges prescribed through a medical provider and taken under clinical guidance. This method allows for a gentle, controlled therapeutic experience within a safe and supportive psychotherapeutic setting.
My work in KAP emphasizes emotional safety, careful preparation, and meaningful integration. Each client is supported in translating insights from ketamine sessions into lasting psychological growth and real-life change.

Treatment Options
Integrated KAP (For Ongoing Therapy Clients)
For clients already engaged in individual or couples therapy with me, KAP can be thoughtfully incorporated into our ongoing work to deepen emotional awareness, insight, and healing.
Collaborative KAP (For Referred Clients)
For clients referred by outside therapists, I offer a structured KAP program typically consisting of 6–8 sessions, including preparation, ketamine sessions, and integration therapy. I collaborate closely with referring therapists to support continuity of care and shared treatment goals.
The KAP Process
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a structured, multi-phase process designed to maximize safety and therapeutic benefit:
-
Comprehensive Assessment & Preparation
We begin with a thorough clinical evaluation to ensure KAP is appropriate. Preparation sessions focus on intention-setting, emotional readiness, and developing tools for navigating the ketamine experience.
-
Ketamine Sessions (Sublingual Lozenges)
During dosing sessions, patients take prescribed sublingual lozenges in a calm, supportive setting. Sessions are facilitated with therapeutic guidance, music, and mindfulness-based support as appropriate. Patients remain monitored and supported throughout the experience.
-
Integration Therapy
Following each ketamine session, we meet for integration therapy to process emotional material, insights, and experiences. Integration helps transform temporary shifts in perception into lasting psychological change.
This three-phase approach ensures that ketamine is used as a therapeutic catalyst rather than a standalone intervention.
Who May Benefit from KAP
KAP may be helpful for individuals experiencing:
-
Depression, including treatment-resistant depression

My Clinical Approach
My approach to KAP is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy. I prioritize emotional safety, informed consent, and collaborative treatment planning.

A Place to Finally Exhale, Be Seen, and Begin Again
If you grew up feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions, walking on eggshells, or trying endlessly to prove your worth, you are not alone.
Many adults from chaotic families learned early how to survive—but were never given the space to truly feel safe, supported, and understood.
This group is that space.
If you were the peacemaker, the fixer, the “strong one,” or the one who held everything together, you have found the right place. Here, you are invited to put down the weight you’ve been carrying and explore your story with compassion, curiosity, and care.
Families impacted by substance use, serious mental illness, emotional neglect, overly controlling dynamics, or inconsistent love often leave lasting imprints.
Growing up in these environments can affect how you trust, connect, set boundaries, and relate to yourself—emotionally and physically—long into adulthood.
As an adult, you may notice patterns such as self-doubt, anxiety or depression, difficulty in relationships, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “stuck” despite your strengths.
When family members remain involved, setting healthy boundaries can feel especially challenging. You do not have to navigate this alone.
This group offers a warm, structured, and confidential environment where you can share your experiences, recognize long-standing patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Together, we work on managing intense emotions, strengthening boundaries, building self-trust, and creating more peace in daily life.
Group Members often describe feeling calmer, more grounded, more confident, and more connected—both to themselves and to the people in their lives.
The Adult Children of Chaotic Families group has been an invaluable supplement to individual therapy. It provides a supportive, insight-oriented environment where patients explore patterns rooted in their family of origin. I have observed deeper self-understanding, increased emotional awareness, and meaningful growth in my patients.”
